Please, Add the last version of Python 3! P.S. Good app.
Please, Add the last version of Python 3! P.S. Good app.
Please, it is a hassle - to be unable to import files to work with on the move!
Nice idea, good realization.
This is by far the best Python-based app on the App Store. I love it but it could be improved even more: - Allow us to share our projects with the world! - Add the ability to replace in the editor. - Add more features to the scene module (like arc()). - Fix the bug when the modules dont reload automatically.
YEEESSSSS!!!
Polished and very smooth UI
Thx for update! Console font is too small by default, who wants more bigger try console.setfont :)
Pythonista is great! Ive been using it for several years already almost every day and today I was very happy to see that theres an update. Everything is working perfectly! Tabs are so cool! Code highlighting in the console is awesome as well! Code execution is superb as always. The updates appear very rarely. To my mind, it would be better to post medium updates with medium changes frequently than huge ones so rarely. All in all, Pythonista is definitely worth the money one has to pay for it.
Bought. And dont mind to do it once more, if you will make Python 3.5 version :)
The best mobile IDE and compiler in one app! Wonderful UI and just gratefully to work here! 5 stars, no less!
print "Hallo, World!" Im learning Python with some PDF guide on my iPad and this app is very very useful and well done! Thanks a lot guy
Pythonista is a stylish and great app. It makes Python great on iOS , both for learning and for developing. It made me even buy a keyboard cover for the iPad. 5 stars all the way!!!
Its just incredible what this App lets you do with your iOS device. Cant tell you what a big step for post-PC devices this is. Amazing, get this app!
Hope there will be more packages coming and I will give 5 star. plus, pls add git support.
I am a programmer. I have done very little Python programming in my career and none at all in 3 or 4 years. I have never done any IOS or OS X programming. In almost no time at all I wrote two Python scripts which allow me to tweet the song currently playing on my iPad. This is thanks to the brilliance of Pythonista. I highly recommend this app.
Incredible update. This app is worth way more than it costs. Endless possibilities. Great examples with new update, and I havent figured out all the new upgrades to the app itself. There are a lot. I honestly cant believe such a useful app even exists. Seems like Apple would kill it so that you would depend more on the Apple.
Very complete and powerful Python implementation for programming on the go.
A thoughtful, complete, powerful Python development Environment for iOS. I used this app, in conjunction with Mark Lutzs Learning Python book to become very comfortable programming with Python. This app provides Python 2.7x, which at this time is preferable to the latest 3.x series (if you read Lutz carefully). The App is a Labour-of-love by a brilliant programmer. Well worth your time if you are seriously interested in Python, or exploring iOS programming and automation.
Firstly, 5 stars no doubt if it wasnt for these few things. In the new 2.0 update, Capitol R Rect (scene) objects have lost their properties as it relates to having a ball bounce off of a wall or other objects. Say that if ball.right() = 1024 vx = vx*-1 it will say that Rect object (because ball is a Rect object) has no attribute "right()". If that and a few other bugs would be fixed asap that would be amazing
EDIT: What was a uniquely capable and amazing app just got way better, with support for all sizes of iPhones and iPads, great new themes, better support for non-py file types, new modules and many more subtle but well-thought updates. Whether youre a beginner or a python guru, this app will impress you. The app itself is beyond my dreams, providing everything I could need in a desktop interpreter ( let alone iOS ), including all popular modules (adapted to iOS where necessary ), support for every, file type , and a lot more. Its quite easy to create your own scripts to automate tasks on iOS, its also a very stable and fast app that runs very well on old devices and new (iPod touch 4, iPad 2, or iPhone 6) Cant imagine a more caring developer, who tries his best to overcome App Store restrictions among other things ( he has a script that lets you browse your Dropbox and download .py files to pythonista, too).
